ABOUT.
A popular idol who enjoys singing and performing. Empathetic and perceptive, gentle. A bit eccentric, and likes to talk about romance. Insecure, and feels the need to prove themself. Underneath their sweet demeanor, there is a potent resent for those they consider better than themself.
FIRST IMPRESSIONS.
Visual. Distinctly Not Human. Shining, shimmering, splendid — they're very sparkly and refract a lot of light. Abnormally pale "skin," which is actually a fine powder dusted over their body. Crystalline hair and eyes, shines in a rainbow effect. Extremely heavy, and cold to the touch - more like a marble statue than anything close to a human.
Demeanor. Kind, but not very open. They seem insecure about themself. Enjoys acting cute and being praised.
Fashion. Ethereal and fashionable, something like this. Their clothes are made from a strange, alien fabric. They're usually all dressed up as if about to go on stage.

Shipping + Physical Affection. m/*, f/*, */*, it's all good. they are a literal being made of crystal though, so smut is a no-go. other forms of physical affection are okay though!
THE LUSTROUS.
The Lustrous (colloquially referred to as "gems") are otherworldly humanoid beings who are made of crystal. They are named for what crystal they're made of. Lustrous are immortal, and cannot feel pain nor temperature. If they are damaged, they can easily be repaired with a special glue - limbs can be reattached, etc. Lustrous get all their necessary sustenance from sunlight, and grow tired when it becomes dark. As such, most of their kind must hibernate during winter. Due to their immortality, they have difficulty understanding or relating to the life and death of mortal beings.
Gems have only one natural enemy; their moon hosts a species called "Lunarians" who regularly abduct Lustrous from their home planet. The general assumption by gems is that this is done to fashion gems into jewelry.
Their kind lives in a society where there is little semblance to what humans would find normal. Gems have no concept of gender in their society, and lack true understanding of many major concepts such as money, laws, or technology more advanced than simple woodwork and weaving. This is because their society is extremely small and utilitarian; there's simply no need for complicated concepts such as money or advanced technology to exist or eventually develop in their society, as they live communally and need very little to survive.

While it's true that most gems don't know much about what human society is like, gems like Diamond, who have been to the moon, have been introduced to and integrated into a society very similar to that of humans - more advanced technology, more complicated societal intricacies. Due to this, Lustrous in this situation have vague understandings of humans and human concepts, though they can still misunderstand things at times.
